When speaking in the public server chat, you're speaking to everyone. You don't need to run any fancy commands to send these messages; simply open your chat and send a message.
Utilizing the server chat, you can also privately send a message to someone using /msg <player> <message>, and using /r <message> to reply to your most recent message.
It doesn't matter if a player is in a different world from you (spawn vs. overworld), everyone will be able to see your sent messages.
Sometimes, you don't want everybody in chat to see your messages, like if you were talking about an enemy on the server. So in this case, you can enable team chat.
Team chat allows users to only send messages to their team when toggled. To activate team chat, run the /team chat command. Once toggled, you don't have to fear any messages you send out are seen by the public eye.
You don't just have to socialize on the server though, because the Lifesteal Network has a public community server anybody can join on Discord. Once you join, you're able to engage with the entire community, even from your mobile device.
This community is where you'll receive the most updates from the creators of Lifesteal, where you can engage using media, and voice chat with other server members.
